Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses in Missouri and Indiana employ the following positions:  

 

Server

Summary: To coordinate a minimum three-table station to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest’s expectation. Provides food, beverage, service and hospitality that meet all Ruth’s Chris Steak House standards and procedures.

 

Chef/Sous Chef

Summary: Manage, supervise and coordinate all kitchen-related activities in home store. Ensure quality preparation and presentation of menu items as well as general sanitation in accordance with established Ruth’s Chris Steak House standards, recipes and procedures.  Responsible for a safe, fun, and productive work environment.

 

Host

Summary: To effectively coordinate and control the flow of the door by greeting arrivals, seating and acknowledging departures of all guests, which results in a Superior Guest Experience for all RCSH guests.

 

Bartender

Summary: To prepare and serve all soft drink, alcoholic beverages and wine according to all RCSH specifications, recipes and procedures to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guests’ expectations. Provides timely and quality beverages to the service staff and performs the duties of cashier for the bar guests and service staff.

 

Server Assistant

Summary: Communicates with and assists servers to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Maintains cleanliness of and restocks front-of-the-house service stations; practices on-going table maintenance for all guests.

 

Broiler

Summary: To cook all meats, poultry and seafood items prepared in the restaurant. Supervises food preparation, cooking methods, procedures and timing to ensure that all food product adheres to the specifications and quality standards of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

 

Pantry

Summary:  To portion, prepare and assemble all cold food items (salads, cold appetizers and hot/cold desserts) offered in the restaurant. Accomplishes all food preparation, cooking methods, procedures and timing to ensure that all food products meet the specifications and quality standards of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

 

Sides Cook

Summary: To cook all potatoes, vegetables and hot appetizer items prepared in the restaurant. Accomplishes all food preparation, cooking methods, procedures and timing to ensure that all food product adheres to the specifications and quality standards of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

 

Prep Cook

Summary:  To  portion and prepare all food items and pastry items offered in the restaurant. Accomplishes all food preparation, cooking methods, procedures and timing to ensure that all food products meet the specifications and quality standards of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

 

Steward/Dishwasher

Summary:  To assist in the set-up, operation and cleanup of the interior and exterior of the restaurant; washes, stores and stocks all plateware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other smallwares and equipment for the restaurant. Correctly cleans and maintains the dishwashing machine. Keeps dish machine area clean and sanitary.
